3 Updos To Wear To Work For Natural Hair

Whether you’re having a bad hair day or just wanting to try something new, here are a few unique up-dos for natural hair that won’t break a sweat!

1. The twisted low bun

The twisted low bun can be done on dry hair in its natural state or when your twist out is on its last legs. Three twists are made at the front of your head and pulled back on top of a low bun. The hair in the middle is used for the low bun while the three twists are used to pull the hair in together. To blend the twists in together, bobby pin them tightly on top of each other so the bobby pins seem to disappear in this gorgeous style.

2. Chignon headband

Headbands are a naturalista’s best friend on lazy days. To achieve the chignon look, simply put on a headband in a circle around your head and tuck the remaining hair into the headband. This can be done with dry natural hair, but looks especially cute on rod-setted, blown out, or twisted out hair.

3. A relaxed high poof

For the days where you’re running low on styling time go for a cute high poof. Use an elastic headband, double it by making it into two circles, and slide it onto your head. Slowly move the elastic back from the front of your head back and up from the back of your head. This will give you a fuller poof than a regular rubber band would.
