4 Herbs That Will Beautify Your Life

For thousands of years, women and men have used herbs to ease tension, improve circulation, and lift the mood.

While we are happy to live in the twenty-first century, where there are plenty of options to improve the quality of life, we’ve compiled a list of herbs that science simply cannot beat. These affordable options are a safe and convenient way to improve your health and life.

4 Herbs That Will Beautify Your Life

1. To prevent hair loss, use rosemary.

This aromatic herb is an effective treatment for hair loss and spot baldness, particularly when used in combination with thyme, lavender, and cedarwood. Consider applying rosemary oil to troubled spots on your scalp if you or someone in your family is combating a receding hair line or suffering problem bald patches.

 2. To ease anxiety, use lavender.

If you are suffering from a lack of sleep and feeling anxious during the day, you may want to consider adding lavender to your life. This herb has been used to ease the mind and relax the muscles for many centuries. Lavender oil has been reported to lift depression, increase feelings of relaxation, and increase cognitive functioning.

Consider relaxing in a lavender bubble bath before bed, or sipping on lavender tea when you need to ease your mind.

3. To treat gloominess, use Saint John’s Wort.

If you’re suffering from depression, it may be a good idea to pick up a bottle of Saint John’s Wort capsules from your grocery store. This yellow-flowered plant contains compounds that have the potential to relieve depression, reduce anxiety, ease PMS, and help you sleep.

Saint John’s Wort is used as a popular alternative to anti-depressants in Europe, particularly Germany, because it has fewer side-effects than selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs).

Don’t expect instant results, however. Like SSRIs, the herb takes 1 – 3 months to take effect. Moreover, Saint John’s Wort interacts with other medications, so check with your doctor before incorporating Saint John’s Wart into your life.

Rich in vitamin C and E, aloe vera is a quick and easy way to fight acne, sooth cuts, treat minor burns, hydrate your face and achieve gorgeous skin.
According to natural health and beauty writer Daisy Raybouldaloe vera also helps to fight against acne because “its anti-inflammatory properties reduce pimple size while its anti-microbial properties kill bacteria.”

Don’t be discouraged. It can take a long time and a lot of mistakes to figure out the best way to take care of your skin and hair. I suggest starting by drinking more water. Try about 5 big glasses each day to start. Your breakouts will probably clear up at least a little bit, and your back pain might get a little bit better too. Don’t expect instant results -it’ll take time. But just keep drinking water, and you’ll see changes. Let me know how it goes!

      Love, Kimberly

I’m a diabetic type 2. My hair has been falling out in klumps when I comb and wash it. I haven’t had a perm in 3 yrs. I am currently using Jamaican Black Castor Oil on my hair and see some results but not a lot it still comes out.
What can I do? And what shampoo can I use?

    1. Kimberly Elise says:

I’m glad you contacted me. You need to go see a professional. If your hair is falling out in clumps, your body’s trying to tell you that some thing’s wrong.

I suggest that you go see a trichologist, a hair and scalp specialist. I also suggest that you pay a visit to a medical and/or homeopathic doctor as well as a nutritionist.

Have you changed medications lately? That may have something to do with it. In any case, you need to get some help. What you’re going through is not normal. Please, Gerri, keep me informed of what’s happening with you.

      Love, Kimberly
