Have You Tried Natural Soap? Start With These Springtime Scents

Spring brings in many beautiful blossoms with scents we all know and love. When it comes to soap, do you go for a classic relaxing lavender fragrance or a Japanese cherry blossom scent?

If you’re a DIY type of girl, this is a serious question. You wouldn’t want to mix winter scents in a springtime soap! Fortunately soap expert Dolores Samuel from Right Out Soap comes to the rescue with her natural, hand-crafted soaps.

Dolores spent years and years crafting the best fragrances for natural soap and boils it down to these four scents: Charcoal Lemongrass, Eucalyptus Mint, Ginger & Lemon, and Lavender & Oats. Phew! Thanks Dolores 😉

Charcoal Lemongrass is a great springtime fragrance for bar soap because, well, who doesn’t like the smell of fresh lemons on a bright and sunny day?

Lemon reminds us that spring is squeaky clean, even if you’ve been postponing Spring Cleaning rituals.

It’s refreshing, sweet, and is great for starting the day. Why charcoal? Because it is top-notch in exfoliating and casting out excess oil in skin. Charcoal is also great for face masks… Check out this article if you want to learn how to make your own!

Dolores’ charcoal lemongrass bar soap is made with essential oils and the staple coconut and olive oils. She also dazzled it with rosemary extract for a little extra hmm-hmm. If you don’t feel like making your own soap this spring, don’t second-guess Right Out Soap’s Charcoal Lemongrass — it’s simply amazing.

Eucalyptus Mint is zingy and will wake you up big time if you use it at the start of the day.

Right Out Soaps are handmade in small batches to keep all of the organic ingredients potent and pure. One of my biggest qualms about using natural soaps is that they don’t get soapy. I’m a stickler for going to Whole Foods and picking up as many as 5 little cubes of soaps from the soap section. (Guilty as charged).  There’s nothing worse than going home after a Whole Foods run to find out that those cute little soap cubes don’t bubble up.

If you use natural soaps, you know what I’m talking about. They smell great but they just don’t lather enough. This is not the case with Right Out Soap. Thank God they get bubbly without the harsh chemicals.

I love the Ginger & Lemon bar soap because there is something awakening about the scent of ginger.

It’s in your face yet subtle and with the lemony smell, it just works perfectly for washing your hands throughout the day. Ginger is also known to relieve pain so I can see why this beautiful scent made Dolores’ list.

You can’t have a fave scent list without Lavender & Oats.

What I love best about lavender and oats is that if you have sensitive skin like me, it’s easy on the touch and doesn’t leave any residue. Right Out Soaps are made with only natural oils and retained glycerin so if you do have sensitive skin, this brand may be great to give a try. Lavender and Oats is perfect for soaking in the bath and relaxing before bedtime.
