Behind The Scenes

The Cape Town Diaries – Part 1

I arrived in beautiful Cape Town, South African after a nearly 30-hour flight from Los Angeles.

I was able to sleep a lot on the plane, and when I landed, the sun was just rising.

My friendly driver, Mo, took me straight to a health food store so I could stock up on some essentials.

As soon as I stepped out of my car, I was recognized by some fans who work in a shop nearby, so we took a picture!

The power of  a film’s reach never ceases to amaze me.

I went back to my hotel and suddenly was hit by an enormous desire to sleep.  The day was just starting in Cape Town, and my body was still 9 hours ahead on L.A. time. So I slept.

      La Wanda,

Flying for a whole day can be FUN! The scenery, the people you meet, and the the rest you get are well worth the lengthy flight time. Thanks for your support!

      Love, Kimberly

Thanks so much for sharing your African experience with us. I for one have studied Africa for so long, even in cultural arts. I studied west African music and dance. There is some much to learn yet it always pays to be careful remembering who you really are. Again thanks so much and continue to enjoy your trip.

It was exhausting trying on countless clothes; but also incredibly fun to play dress up. […]

Every day I pray that I am able to follow a rule someone shared with me.
“Love, God’s Gift. And Ego, satan’s Curse, Cannot reside in the same House, or Heart at the same Time.” Spend your moments contemplating on the Love God has blessed us to share and keeping Ego out of our Hearts and minds.

    Hi Kimberley,
Welcome to our beautiful country and to our mother city Cape town.
I think and believe that you are one of the most amazing actors in the industry. The roles you take on has meaning and you tell the stories that needs to be told. I am a fan but mostly I admire you for staying humble and true to yourself.
I hope to meet you some day just to have a chat with Kimberley the woman , I know that will be an unforgettable experience.
Enjoy your stay in Cape town 🙂
    Yours sincerely,
