If you have sensitive skin like mine, then you’re familiar with the redness that seems to come with the slightest change in routine.
In the summer, I have to slather on extra sunscreen to keep my skin from turning beet red.
It can be difficult (not to mention expensive) to figure out just what products will work for my skin without causing even more redness or other side effects. However, coconut oil and tea tree oil combine forces in this simple, DIY facial mask for redness relief.

I recently came across this DIY Coconut Oil and Tea Tree Oil Face Mask that left me in disbelief of its effectiveness.
Though I’d never tried this recipe before, I trusted these two natural ingredients based on my experience with them in the past. So I applied and left this mask on overnight for optimal results. The next morning, I was amazed!
I woke up to skin that was hydrated, smooth, and most importantly, without redness. I was very impressed by how even my skin tone looked.
Coconut oil and tea tree oil both have antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties to take the redness away.
Meanwhile, tea tree oil is also effective in treating acne without leaving behind dry or peeling skin. And coconut oil helps to moisturize and soften, while the naturally-occurring Vitamin E contributes anti-aging effects.
