I’ve been traveling a lot this winter – from Montreal to Los Angeles and back again. My winter hair care ritual integrates more moisturizing and more protective styles.
To moisturize your hair, you can use this simple Do-It-Yourself serum that I like to use, when my hair needs extra love and protection. Watch the video on my YouTube page as well.
The only ingredients you need are fresh water, aloe vera, glycern, argan oil, and your favorite essential oils – you might have all these ingredients at home. I use lavender oil because I love its relaxing, yet stimulating properties, but you can choose others.
Which are your favorite essential oils? Share in the comments below.
If you work in an office with a heater, then it’s good to carry this serum to work with you in a little bottle. But not so if you’re going to be out in the cold air a lot!
You can carry a little bottle in your purse and spritz your hair with water whenever you feel it needs a refresher. Keep the bottle for 7 days before making a new batch for yourself.
This winter hair serum works best for dry hair types.
