Pomegranate juice

How To Use

After washing your face, dip a cotton ball in 100% pomegranate juice and gently apply on the dark spots. You can also mix rosewater for extra moisture.

Pomegranate juice has antioxidants like vitamins A, C, and E and is anti-inflammatory, perfect for dark spot riddance. As for rose water, it helps maintain your skin’s pH balance for hydrated, smooth, and moisturized skin.

You can make your own D-I-Y organic rosewater toner with these instructions.

Olive oil

How To Use

Directly massage onto the affected areas for four to five minutes in gentle circular motions. Three major antioxidants found in olive oil are vitamin E, phytosterols, and polyphenols. These antioxidants help restore skin smoothness and prevent damage to the skin such as dark spots caused by ultraviolet light.

Lemon juice

How To Use

Cut a fresh lemon in half and dab the juice onto the dark spots. Leave it on for 15 minutes and watch it work its magic. High in vitamin C, lemons have natural bleaching properties that can help lighten dark spots and acne marks on your face.

Also, try this D-I-Y oatmeal scrub to exfoliate your skin.

Green tea

How To Use

Make two cups of green tea and leave it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Afterward, soak a clean cloth in the tea and place it on the targeted skin for several minutes. Its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties will decrease redness and inflammation.

Coconut oil

How To Use

You can use this natural element alone and in combination with other natural ingredients like lemon, aloe vera, or turmeric. Coconut oil is antifungal and antiviral, helping kill bacteria that causes acne and reduce the redness that comes with blemishes.
