Green smoothies aren’t always green. And this Chocolate Mint Irish Smoothie is one of my favorites.
For my friends who come over and feel intimidated by green smoothies, I love this smoothie. Because I can still offer them a ton of the vital nutrients in greens, but blanket it in chocolate.

And when I add a little mint, they swear they are eating a melted peppermint patty!

Chocolate Mint Irish Smoothie
- 1/2 cups coconut milk
3-4 tbsp. raw cacao powder1-2 scoops your favorite chocolate protein powder
- 2 cups greens of choice (I like kale)
- 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
- 1/2 cup frozen mango
- 1/8 cup coconut nectar or your favorite sweetener
- 1 mint leaf
- 1/2 cup ice
- Blend well. Adjust sweetener to taste
