The Path To Your Dreams Is Greater Than You Can Imagine

I believe that the path toward your dreams is greater than you can even conceive.

KimberlyElise.comWhen I was in my early twenties, I had a set vision about where I was going and how I was going to get there.

I was going to move to New York, pursue a career on stage, and then land a TV show. Instead, I became a married mother! The time I spent as a mother, however, gave me time to prepare for my dreams and the strength to move ahead to Los Angeles.

I’m sure you have felt the same way in your life. After all, you probably were encouraged at a young age to set goals and forge a path to achieve whatever goal we have chosen for ourselves.

Now, I’m one who is all for goals! But something that I’ve learned over my life is this:

Know where you are going, but don’t rigidly stick to a plan. Let the universe take over.

I think that sometimes we get caught up in a “story” about how something is supposed to happen, and get in the way of actually letting it happen. Hold your dreams in your heart while also surrendering some control and allowing the process to unfold as it should. You’ll find your way to your destination when you say yes to opportunities beyond your comfort zone. You’ll come closer to your dreams when you experiment with new challenges as well.

The Path To Your Dreams_wmNow, sometimes it may feel like you’ve gone way left, but by the end, whenever you have trusted, you have had the most amazing journeys, have found the most growth, and ultimately ended up far better off than you ever, ever imagined!

To me, the possibilities in life are far greater than we could ever imagine or plan for! If you set your goals and work towards them (you must do your part!), yet still allow surprises and what may appear to be detours to occur, chances are you will find yourself living a life greater than you ever imagined.

My advice: trust that there is a plan – it may not be your exact plan, in fact, it’s actually probably better.

That’s beautiful and encouraging especially coming from someone who has accomplished great things thus far! I’ve always heard that Gods plan for your life is far greater than you can imagine or concieve. I do believe this. I’m 35 years old married with two teen kids and I’ve had to go through alot of trial tribulations and adversities in order to fully comprehend that God has a special plan for my life that is better than I can imagine. I’m jus now believing that I can find my place and achieve the soul purpose for my life. I quess its never too late. I’m not there yet but God knows I’m making way through trying.

Once again thanks for your insight. I have found that things rarely go as planned. You must be open to the bumps in the road. Often those are the best experiences of your life. Learn and grow from every situation that you find yourself in. Kimberly thank you for sharing yourself with your fans.
