Spring is a lovely time for natural hair. After winter hibernation, the spring offers kinder weather and sunshine.
Depending on where you live, spring time could mean lots of sunshine or rain.
If you’re in a sunnier state, it might be time to bring back the classic twist out. If you’re dodging rain this spring, you might want to look at high buns and up-dos.

This is an adorable look for those in sunny weather who want to try waves. This look goes well with stretched hair and doesn’t require too much heat if you use curlers. The romantic side-swept bangs and pinned up back keep your neck from getting too hot.
In the spring, I love doing twist-outs and braid-outs. Spring usually isn’t too humid and my twist-outs can last longer without as much gel as I’d need in the summer.
The following tutorial is perfect for those looking to wear their hair out and fluffy this spring. You can always rock this look past the first day with a high-poof or bun later on.
Getting this look may seem difficult, but it’s fairly simple. If you know how to flat-twist, you’ve got half of the style down! All you need to do is flat-twist the back of your hair and wear the front curly. You can rock your natural hair in the front or use rollers to keep more defined curls.
