How To Do A Wash-And-Go with Vlogger CharyJay

[heading_entrance title=”I absolutely adore this video posted by beauty vlogger CharyJay.” text=”” custom_class=””][/heading_entrance]

CharyJay shows us how women with zig-zaggy, cottony hair textures can enjoy a wash-and-go salon experience. CharyJay visits Textures by Nefertiti, where Markquisha, a curly hair specialist, demonstrates how to achieve enhanced curls using a gentle finger-detangling technique.

The hairstylist uses moisturizing, claifying shampoo; moisturizing leave-in conditioning treatment; pure argan oil; and styling gel. She reminds ladies with a kinkier hair textures to stay away from silicone, mineral oil, and petroleum-based shampoos for maximum curl.

The video provides an excellent explanation of finger detangling. Like many of you, I feel that I don’t have time to detangle my hair with my fingers and get frustrated too easily; however, my impatience has resulted in masses of hair lost to the comb.

Over the long President’s day weekend, it might be worth curling up with Netflix and big bottle of leave-in conditioner, and having my first finger detangling session.

This video was very helpful to me. I like the fact not to use a comb to de-tangle the hair, and use your fingers.

Loved the video. I am a stylist in Alberta Canada and do all ethnicities of hair. I am encouraging more of my black clients to go natural. The more I can learn myself is the more I can teach. This was a very informative tutorial and I thank you for it. Im glad to learn which products work the best. Again, thanks.

I’m having the hardest time getting my hair to comfort to a natural curl. The products that I’m currently using are: Tresemme naturals, Shea moisture curling gel soufflé, SM coconut hibiscus hold and shire moisture mist. I put my hair in a twist over night. After which my hair still looked frizzy. Do you know of any natural hair salons in San Diego? Thank you for any help you can give.

Look into the “Curly Girl Method” I’m the stylist in the video and that is the method that I used for chary jay and all my clients. Its all about hydration. Once you get the correct amount of hydration into your strands your hair will behave and kink and curl like it should. Google such the method and it will guide you step by step on what to do. I’ve been doing this method for over 3 years and my hair has really thrived from it. FYI products that contain Shea butter weighs the hair down and causes buildup so your curls are deprived of moisture. Hope this helps. My information is at the end of the video if you need anymore help hit me up.
